Happy Hips: Anatomy & Emotions of the Hips
The stresses of everyday life, demanding jobs, and sitting for hours all take their toll on our hips. In this workshop, you will learn the anatomy of the hips and how to stretch and strengthen all of the muscles around the hips. Our muscles store unprocessed emotions. Learn which emotions are stored in which muscles of the hips and discover what emotional scars you might be holding on to. Join Clair and Adriana in this explorative anatomy workshop to understand your body a little better and leave empowered to release emotional baggage in your hips!

Adriana’s Bio:
Adriana Lee is all about self discovery and empowerment throughyoga. She teaches her students how to breathe, how to feel again, and howto get reacquainted with their bodies. As a teacher, she breaks downbig concepts and complicated poses to make them more interestingand more accessible. She is a total anatomy geek and is constantlylearning more and more about the body so that she can better serveher students. Students leave the class feeling refreshed, connected totheir bodies, and empowered.
Adriana is truly passionate about yoga and radiates love to herstudents. She says, “I found yoga at an impressionable age &important time in my life. I was too young to understand the depth ofwhat I was doing - thought it was just exercise. But it made an imprinton me. Later, I used yoga to get through a challenging relationshipand even more challenging divorce. That’s when I decided to becomea teacher. It was my safe haven. I learned to be strong, resilient, andmore importantly I learned how to feel my emotions fully rather thannumbing out. I wanted to share the gift of what I learned. Clair’s Bio:
Clair Thomas is an authentic yoga instructor with 5 years experience and a passion for guiding students to reach for finding pleasure in their practice through proper, safe alignment and breath. Clair enjoys bringing connection to the class, community, and individual yoga practice. She aims to connect yoga back to a place of overall well being to encourage her students' lifelong relationship with spiritual, physical, and emotional health through a consistent yoga practice. Clair has taught hot vinyasa yoga, Hibs Yoga, and Reiki restorative in Las Vegas and Honolulu. She is also an ACE certified personal trainer and certified run coach.
